No Tail[]

Chihuahua's can be born with either a stub tail or no tail at all. This is not recognized by the AKC, and puppies born this way are usually culled or sold as pets. Chihuahua's with no tails are greatly frowned upon in the Chihuahua community. There are negative health effects associated with bobtails, such as being born with no anus and spinal deformities.
